Welcome to Sunaar Khata (Package Name: com.sunaarkhata.official), operated by the development team ("we", "our", or "us"). Sunaar Khata is a dedicated cloud and offline business-record-keeping, accounting, and inventory calculation application built exclusively for retail jewellery shopkeepers, bullion dealers, and merchants in India.

3. Device Hardware Permissions & Play Store Data Safety

In accordance with Google Play Store Data Safety requirements, Sunaar Khata requests sensitive hardware permissions solely to deliver core retail accounting operations:

• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA):
  • Strict Exclusive Purpose: Used exclusively for taking photos of pledged jewellery items (गिरवी सोने-चाँदी के जेवर) as item condition proof, customer verification photos on pawn receipts (गिरवी पर्ची), photographing item billing slips/invoices, uploading jewellery designs to the merchant's digital showcase catalogue, and scanning BIS Hallmark HUID QR codes.
  • User-Initiated Only: The camera is NEVER accessed in the background or triggered automatically. It only opens when the merchant explicitly taps the camera button.
  • No Biometric Profiling: We do NOT extract biometric markers, run facial recognition, or perform automated profiling. Photos are stored strictly as private business record attachments.
  • Encrypted Storage: Photos are securely encrypted in the merchant's private tenant cloud database and are never shared with or sold to third parties for advertising or tracking.
• Microphone / Record Audio (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO):
  • Strict Exclusive Purpose: Used solely for optional, on-demand voice search and speech-to-text input (such as searching a customer's name, village, or transaction amount by voice).
  • Ephemeral Real-Time Processing: Audio stream is processed strictly in real time using the device's native speech recognition engine to convert speech into search text.
  • Zero Audio Storage: Audio is NEVER recorded as an audio file, never stored locally or remotely, never uploaded to our servers, and never shared with third parties. As soon as the spoken query is transcribed into text, the audio stream is instantly purged from memory.
  • No Background Listening: Microphone hardware is active strictly while the user holds or clicks the voice search button; background or continuous listening is completely prohibited.
• Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to deliver daily 1-click backup confirmations, loan interest due alerts, and live spot bullion rate updates.
• Biometric (android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC): Used locally to lock and unlock your private ledger on your physical device via Android Keystore. Biometric data never leaves your hardware.
• Internet & Network State: Used to synchronize encrypted tenant accounts to Google Cloud Firestore and retrieve bullion spot market prices.
• No High-Risk Permissions: Sunaar Khata does NOT request SMS reading, Call logs, Contacts book harvesting (READ_CONTACTS), Background location, or All-Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).

Gold, Silver, and MCX commodity benchmark rates displayed inside the app are indicative spot market reference rates sourced from third-party wholesale market feeds. Sunaar Khata is NOT a commodity exchange, broker, or financial trading platform. The app does not facilitate trading, futures contracts, or commodity orders. Rates are displayed solely to assist jewellers in calculating retail jewellery making charges and estimates.

We work with trusted industry leaders to ensure secure infrastructure:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Firebase Storage, and Cloud Messaging (FCM). Data is hosted in secure Google Cloud regions with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Cloudinary (Cloudinary Inc.): Secure media hosting for digital catalog images.
• Sentry (Functional Software Inc.): Anonymized crash logging and performance monitoring (does not log personal banking or ledger data).
• Google Sign-In: Secure single sign-on authentication.

7. Data Security & Encryption

Your data is protected by multi-layered security controls:

• In Transit: 100% of data transmitted over the internet uses HTTPS and TLS 1.3 encryption.
• On Device: Android Keystore hardware-backed cryptographic protection (AES-256-GCM / TEE / StrongBox) for biometric access and local secure tokens.
• At Rest: Cloud databases and media storages are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Multi-tenant database rules isolate each shopkeeper's data so that no other merchant can access your records.

8. Account & Data Deletion (User Rights)

In accordance with Google Play Store policies and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have full ownership of your data and the absolute right to delete your account and all associated records.

• In-App Deletion: Open Sunaar Khata ➔ Navigate to Settings ➔ Account & Support ➔ Delete Account & All Data. The app automatically exports a final emergency JSON backup for your personal records, then permanently purges all customer lists, invoices, girvi ledgers, photos, and login credentials from our servers immediately.
• Web Deletion Portal: If you uninstalled the app, visit our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Portal or email skrishnagopal555@gmail.com. We process all deletion requests within 24 to 48 hours without undue retention.

Sunaar Khata is a B2B commercial business management tool designed exclusively for adults (18 years of age or older). We do not knowingly market to or collect data from minors.

सुनार खाता (Sunaar Khata) में आपका स्वागत है। यह ऐप भारत के सराफ़ा व्यापारियों, सुनारों और ज्वैलर्स के रोज़ाना के बही-खाता, गिरवी, पक्का बिल और स्टॉक के सुरक्षित डिजिटल प्रबंधन के लिए बनाया गया है।

1. हम कौन सा डेटा एकत्र करते हैं?

• दुकानदार का विवरण: नाम, मोबाइल नंबर, ईमेल, दुकान का नाम, पता व GSTIN (वैकल्पिक)।
• ग्राहक का विवरण (दुकानदार द्वारा दर्ज): ग्राहक का नाम, फ़ोन नंबर, गाँव/शहर, उधारी व जमा हिसाब।
• गिरवी (Pledge) रिकॉर्ड: सोने-चाँदी के आभूषणों का विवरण, कुल व शुद्ध वज़न (Gross/Net), शुद्धता टंच, दिया गया कर्ज़, मासिक ब्याज दर और आभूषण की फ़ोटो।
• बिल व बिक्री: बिक्री बिल, मेकिंग चार्ज और टैक्स विवरण।

2. डेटा की सुरक्षा व गोपनीयता

आपका समस्त डेटा आधुनिक एन्क्रिप्शन (HTTPS/TLS 1.3) के माध्यम से Google Firebase क्लाउड पर सुरक्षित रहता है। आपकी दुकान का डेटा केवल आपके लॉगिन पर ही खुलता है; कोई अन्य दुकानदार या बाहरी व्यक्ति इसे नहीं देख सकता।

Google Play Store की डेटा सुरक्षा नीति अनुसार हम केवल आवश्यक अनुमतियाँ मांगते हैं:

• कैमरा अनुमति (android.permission.CAMERA):
  • एकमात्र उद्देश्य: कैमरा केवल और केवल गिरवी रखे गए सोने-चाँदी के जेवरों की स्थिति व फोटो, गिरवी पर्ची पर ग्राहक पहचान, पक्के बिल/रसीद की फोटो खींचने, डिजिटल शोकेस कैटलॉग में जेवर डिजाइन अपलोड करने और हॉलमार्क HUID QR कोड स्कैन करने के लिए उपयोग होता है।
  • केवल यूज़र द्वारा शुरू: कैमरा बैकग्राउंड में कभी चालू नहीं होता; यह केवल तभी खुलता है जब आप स्वयं स्क्रीन पर कैमरे के बटन को दबाते हैं।
  • कोई बायोमेट्रिक स्कैनिंग नहीं: हम चेहरे की पहचान (Facial Recognition) या बायोमेट्रिक विश्लेषण नहीं करते हैं। फोटो केवल दुकानदार के निजी बही-खाता रिकॉर्ड के लिए सुरक्षित रखी जाती हैं।
• माइक्रोफ़ोन/ऑडियो अनुमति (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO):
  • एकमात्र उद्देश्य: इसका उपयोग केवल और केवल ग्राहक का नाम, खाता या रकम बोलकर खोजने (Voice Search / Speech-to-Text) के लिए माइक बटन दबाने पर होता है।
  • शून्य ऑडियो स्टोरेज (Zero Audio Recording): आपकी आवाज़ कभी भी ऑडियो फ़ाइल के रूप में सेव या किसी सर्वर पर अपलोड नहीं की जाती है। डिवाइस का सिस्टम आवाज़ को तुरंत टेक्स्ट (अक्षरों) में बदलकर समाप्त कर देता है।
  • बैकग्राउंड में कोई रिकॉर्डिंग नहीं: माइक केवल उसी क्षण सक्रिय होता है जब आप बोलकर सर्च करने के लिए माइक आइकॉन दबाते हैं।

• वेबसाइट के माध्यम से: यदि ऐप अनइंस्टॉल हो गई है, तो हमारे डेटा डिलीशन पोर्टल पर जाएं या skrishnagopal555@gmail.com पर ईमेल भेजें। 48 घंटे के भीतर आपका समस्त डेटा पूरी तरह मिटा दिया जाएगा।
